During the month of October, Harrison Public Schools has been Kicking Kindness Around in recognition of New Jersey's Week of Respect and of America's Safe Schools Week.
Students have learned about treating one another with respect and kindness
and have created visual representations of these themes. Since we all love soccer,
we have used materials and activities surrounding the sport to emphasize our themes.
On Friday, October 21, 2022 students in grades K-12 were treated to demonstrations
by the Red Bulls Freestyle Team, who engaged the students in activities and competitions.
Gabe Luzbet, a member of the freestyle team, is a 2010 graduating class of Harrison High School. It was a pleasure to welcome him back to his alma mater, where he wowed the students with his prowess, took photos with students and was interviewed by students in Ms. Kashi's class. We are sure that our students will continue to treat one another with kindness and respect!
