Purpose: Referral service & awareness campaign for children ages 3–21 who may have developmental delays or disabilities.

Early Intervention (Birth–3 Years)

  • NJ Early Intervention System provides support for infants and toddlers with delays or disabilities.

School-Aged Children (3–21 Years)

  • Provides free appropriate public education (FAPE) for eligible students.

Signs to Watch For:

  • Delays in language or speech
  • Difficulty walking, running, manipulating objects
  • Frequent health problems or disabilities from birth
  • Vision or hearing problems
  • Tantrums, anxiety, or shyness
  • Difficulty playing with peers
  • Trouble paying attention and listening
