Hamilton School proudly showcased its annual Volume Project, transforming the building into a vibrant Barnyard Farm created by fourth and fifth grade students. Over the past several weeks, students engaged in a hands-on, cross-curricular learning experience that blended math, literacy, and data analysis.
Fifth graders applied their volume calculations to construct three-dimensional animals, while also partnering with their ELA classes to research and write informational brochures about each creature. Meanwhile, fourth graders collected data and designed personalized graphs that highlighted their findings.
The Hamilton School Math Farm was on display from November 17–21, and the community was invited to stop by and celebrate the creativity, hard work, and academic growth of the students.
